American Musical Supply, who I have now had two of these sent to me, has been simply wonderful in taking care of me through what has been a not-so-fun misadventure into the world of foreign-built guitars. The first guitar came with one of the mother-of-pearl inlaid crosses only half applied. The top half was simply rosewood. And from seeing this I can tell you that inlay is micrometers thick. Almost nothing to it. Add to this that you do not get a case and my second guitar came with the tremolo accessories bag bouncing around in the box. 5 nice dents in the back of the replacement they sent me.
The guitar has a great metal sound if you get one that’s in good shape, I’d go to Guitar Center so you can see it, play it, and take it home.
As it is for me know… enough foreign guitars. I’m going to have AMS (I told you they’ve been great through this and are going to give me a discount for the inconvenience) send me an american made Fender Deluxe strat which ships in a case.
Schecter: Good tone… lousy packaging and QA. And they shouldn’t call those inlays mother of pearl, more like ghost of pearl, they are so thin.
